Miriam Airington-Fisher is a criminal defense and immigration lawyer who has devoted her career to reuniting families and helping them integrate into society. As the founder of Airington Law, she has consistently worked to establish one of the most respected, committed, and successful immigration law firms in Virginia. Miriam leads a team of skilled attorneys, compassionate paralegals, and dedicated support staff, all united in delivering exceptional immigration services to their clients.

Miriam earned her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in Florida and holds a degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Her deep passion for assisting families through immigration challenges has driven her career. She currently resides in Virginia with her husband and three children.

As a Dominican immigrant, Jennifer’s lifelong dream was to become a defense attorney and protect the rights of those in need. After moving to the U.S. to study, Jennifer graduated from the University of Central Florida and earned her law degree from the College of William and Mary, later becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen. She joined Airington Law as a dedicated and passionate advocate for her clients and their families.

Yanira is an immigration paralegal who assists clients with family petitions, residency, and citizenship applications. Yanira was drawn to the legal field through personal experience; her parents emigrated from El Salvador and made incredible sacrifices to become citizens and raise their family in the U.S. Yanira grew up in Colorado and moved to Virginia to raise her own family.

A graduate of the University of Richmond, Olivia is a passionate and committed member of the Airington Law team. Her lifelong dedication to the legal field has driven her work. At our firm, Olivia has found a home where her devotion to defending human rights makes a meaningful impact. In 2023, she joined Airington Law as one of our paralegals specializing in immigration law.

A graduate in Criminology and Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, Hannah serves as a Litigation Paralegal at Airington Law. Her experience providing clinical counseling in mental health has equipped her with a strong understanding of both family law and criminal law. She is dedicated to making a positive impact and advocating for justice.

Hannah resides in Henrico County with her husband and twin children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and exploring creative hobbies such as painting, drawing, and scrapbooking.

Andrea joined Airington Law in August 2020, bringing a unique perspective as a first-generation American and the daughter of Mexican immigrants. Her personal experiences with immigration processes ignited her passion for immigration law. Andrea connects with clients on a deeply human level, engaging with them from a place of authentic compassion.

Despite the emotional challenges of coordinating appointments for sworn statements—where both she and her clients often confront intense emotional hurdles—Andrea remains unwavering in her dedication. She finds solace in knowing that the hardships leading to the granting of humanitarian relief are now behind her clients.

Maria joined Airington Law as an Operations Consultant in February 2023. Originally from Mexico, she brings firsthand insight into the challenges of navigating the immigration process and recognizes the importance of having a dependable legal team to provide guidance and support.

Maria is dedicated to ensuring that clients have a welcoming and high-quality experience. Collaborating closely with the legal team, she works to keep clients well-informed and supported throughout their journey. Her goal is to provide clients with confidence and reassurance, ensuring they feel advocated for while their cases progress smoothly and comfortably.

Coming from a family of Colombian immigrants, Gabriela holds her roots close to her heart. Her personal experience as an immigrant allows her to connect deeply with Airington Law’s mission to provide life-changing legal services to clients.

Gabriela graduated from American University with degrees in Public Relations and Strategic Communication. In November 2023, she joined the Airington Law team as the Marketing Coordinator.
